If you don’t know where you are on the map, how can you reach your desired destination.

Learn to accept your own emotions, feelings or situation, then you can move on to understand where you are within the current ebb or flow.

Acceptance will help you break free from unwanted cycles and come into alignment with what you truly desire - self-awareness.

You can only be who you are and that’s good enough.

2. Anger, Betrayal, Hate & Resentment

Mini guidance
Betrayal often brings up feelings of anger, hate and resentment. These four emotions or feelings can be experienced separately, but they can work hand-in-hand.

Set your intention to find inner peace with the situation; to believe that somebody’s actions are because of you, is to hold yourself in a victim saviour paradigm.

Blame is a great identifier, as it helps you understand that there is a situation needs to be addressed. However, blame will not help you remove yourself from the emotional pain.

The aim is to,

  • accept where you are,

  • take responsibility,

  • integrate your emotions

  • and raise your vibration

Do not keep yourself entrapped in such a dense energy loop.This was a cycle that, if completed efficiently, will have far-reaching positive consequences for you; somebody else’s actions will not be a condition to your happiness, you will not take on other people’s baggage as your own and you’ll be the boss of you.

If empowered and abundant is what you want to feel, find forgiveness knowing that it is ok to disengage - permission is granted to learn your lessons and move on.

3. Anxiety

Mini guidance
Anxiety can come from stressing about a possible outcome and not having a definitive answer to work with. Feelings of being left in limbo because you are waiting for a response from another.

You may feel outside of your comfort zone, stuck in a situation or trapped in a maze of thoughts.

Sometimes it’s best to accept confusion and be at peace with the unknown or until it makes itself clear - clarity is what we strive for, but it’s not available all the time.

Breathing exercise
No good law ever came from a state of emergency, so bringing yourself into balance, would be a good place for you to start:

  • Close your eyes

  • Focus on breathing - breathing in for 4 counts, breathing out for 4 counts

  • Out loud or in your head, continuously chant the word, “om” (aum)

  • Induce a yawn - this will trigger you into balance and calm

Keep doing this until you feel settled.

Mantra
Remember, you are loved, you are always loved and always will be loved!

4. Boundaries (Healthy)

Mini guidance
Outside of forgiveness, healthy boundaries are one of the most powerful lessons that a person learn.

This is because healthy boundaries shows the universe that you are giving yourself love and actively valuing your worth by setting permissions around your personal space.

What is “right” and what is considered “wrong” is subjective and personal to each individual, even if there is a commonly accepted standard.

Therefore, it is important to know that what feels “right” or “wrong” to you, is worth protecting - trust your intuition and flex your assertive muscles.

  • If you can’t give yourself the respect you want, need or deserve, why should anybody else.

  • If you don’t know how to respect yourself, will you know how to not over step the line with others.

Finding them for yourself, helps you appreciate other people’s boundaries and, without feeling personally rejected or abandoned, will help you show compassion and understanding.

Grant people the space they need and understand that just because they may need a timeout, it does not mean they do not value you.

Adopt the trusted saying, “understand where you end and somebody else begins” - healthy boundaries work both ways.

5. Detached, Disassociated, Disorientated, Confused

Mini Guidance
1.
Do not listen to any voice that tells you that you do not deserve love; you are loveable.

2. You may need to temporarily disengage from situations, surroundings, people or anything that makes you feel out of balance.

3. Allow the hindering thoughts to pass by; you do not have to jump on every train that comes into the station.

Decide where you want to go by tuning into your emotions. To know what emotion you are feeling, may be difficult at first but keep asking yourself, “how am I feeling” it will get easier.

4. Accept and appreciate that you have been feeling detached, disorientated, disassociated or confused; it is an indication that you now have the option to use your emotions as a guide to find clarity.

5. Practice chanting the word, “Om,” silent or out loud, will help you come out of your head and find inner peace - nothing to lose, try it!

When you breathe, remember that all is well because you are loved, you are always loved and you always will be loved!

6. Depressed

Mini guidance
Depression fkn sucks - sucks, sucks, sucks! I get it, I have it and it is possible to raise your rabbit hole state sometimes a little and sometimes a lot.

If you suffer with depression, you’ll know, it has to be addressed from every positive angle possible - this is another tool that’s worked for me and others - give a try?

Living in the past?
It is a mess and a maze, leave it where it is; it no longer exists.

Feeling absolutely shit about everything now?
You’re not alone - it happens and, agreed, it’s no fun.

Replace the waves hopeless with self-belief. This internal intention will help you let go and acts as a call for help. You will hear the answers if you allow yourself time and breathe through the pain.

Visualising the infinity symbol is a good way of setting your intention to bring yourself into alignment with inner peace and focus your attention away from sorrow.

Look at an infinity symbol, the hoop to the left is the past, and the hoop to the right is the future. Where the two hoops meet in the middle, consider that as the now - a point of comfort.

Focus on that point and breathe, not what you had in the past or what you feel you lack in your future.

Make a mental or physical list of what you have going for you right now. Starting with air to breathe and the ability to take steps. Set your intention to break free from the invisible chains or hoops; they no longer serve you.

Take time to listen to the internal voice with you that always has love for you, always has your back 110%.

This positive voice is the voice of the energy that will help bring you into alignment with your true potential to love yourself and start feeling better - step, by step.

Now when you visualise the infinity symbol, see both hoops, and the centre point, as unconditional universal love and self-love, that is never ending; this is you. This change of perspective, is one that takes you from victim, saviour and lack, into a flow of energy that is you. The same infinity symbol can change your thought process, your behaviour and your internal view of yourself. The beauty of taking back your power!

Step by step, take charge of that which you can reach until you are in charge of your happiness - embody the power with a piecemeal approach. There is is no rush and no finish line, just a sacred journey within that you know you can thrive on! If you did not need this stage of the journey to grow, you would not be on it. Therefore, show appreciation during this process as you are now learning to speak the language of emotions and what you are being shown by your soul that you deserve to feel good about yourself.

You are loved, you are always loved and you always will be loved!

7. Ego

Mini guidance

You often hear people say, “you have a beautiful soul,” but how often do you hear people say, “you have a beautiful ego?”

If you are heavily in your ego, you may have a fear-based point of view which will impact a majority of your thoughts, conditioning, behaviours and actions. Likewise, if you are strictly in your heart, you may be over emotional and without much logic.

Your ego is not to be feared and your heart is not to be rejected - a balanced mind works (intelligence/light) well with a heart that is not over emotional (love).

A tamed ego gives space to embrace the emotions of the heart. Much like science and spirituality, when the two heads join, they create a very good partnership - yin and yang.

Bringing the mind and the heart into alignment, may help you be the change you wish to see in society, give you better relationships and let go of unhelpful conditioning.

Transcending the ego is an inwards journey that will address the balance between your masculine and feminine aspects and help you let go of judgemental behaviours - you’re really only judging yourself.

What is “right” or “wrong” is only relevant to the person who is acting.

For example, what I see as right, you may see as wrong and it will be based on your traumas, traits and conditioning. Condemning a person’s ego is highly judgemental and subjective and, quite frankly, not your job.

Do not judge yourself or others harshly, just tune in to see if this is really the way forward for you.

Right or wrong, it has to be “your” right or wrong based on how you want to feel when the saga has blown over. Whatever your position, ask yourself, is this decision going to work out in the long term? Am I feeling balanced while making this decision?

Have patience with yourself, and with others, when you find yourself in a state of flux. Decide to be the change you want to see by stepping away from situations that do not serve you and seek ones that do.

Do not suppress your emotions or feelings, integrate and appreciate them because they are here to show you that something in your environment is making you feel not good.

Recognising how your ego feels and address yourself with compassion and understanding will help that negative voice take a time out. It will help you know that you are always loved, no matter what stage of your journey.

8. Fear

Mini guidance
Fear itself polices the person who feels it and does not stop at red lights, it keeps going and rampages through the soul.

Do not underestimate the profound change that occurs when you say, “goodbye” to the fear-based reality and step into a heart-based one.

Fear may be all you have known - possibly, all your life. You will feel like a snake shedding your skin. It is a beautiful transition, but it can also be a harrowing one too - having to take a leap of faith towards the unknown.

Therefore, during this transition, know that you are loved, always loved and always will be loved and go easy on yourself. It is a process, until it isn’t.

You will learn to disengage and eliminate debilitating fears through gaging your surroundings. Start by accepting what scares you and take it from there.

Go back and look at, “1. Acceptance;” “3. Anxiety,” as breathing exercises can help balance you, so that you can embrace and “25. Trust” actions you will take - from a high point of love.

10. Genetics, Family, Soul Family

Mini guidance
When picking your team, consider yourself as the captain of your game - decide who you wish to have around you and which circumstances you want to accept into your life.

You do not, ever, have to accept energy that is presented to you that does not serve you - whether it is from genetic family tree or soul family.

Whatever the reason you may feel that you deserve better or different behaviours, than what is being offered - and that's ok.

At times, if you do not have the strength to assist others and need to take the journey inwards, it is ok to disengage - but the rule of thumb, is to be compassionate, assertive and honest.

You can always agree to disagree.

11. Grief, Loss, Attached to Drama

Mini guidance
The energy of grief, loss or drama can come in many forms and hit you any time, any place. 

It can present itself as an all consuming dense energy - a heavy set blanket of despair. Or it can be a simple compartmentalised square, blue box - the elephant in the room.

Letting go of grief, loss or drama does not mean that you have forgotten the person, situation, ideal or ordeal that was once so closely attached to you. It means that you have learned that the heavy feeling that weighs you down, no longer serves you.

When the energy of grief, loss or drama is lifted, dissolved, transmuted or let go, you will feel lighter and, consequently, in a state of bliss or inner peace.

Are you ready to appreciate a lighter energy of forgiveness by letting go - will you allow yourself to accept?

12. Guilt

Mini guidance
Guilt can resurface under many different circumstances. All of which are a clear indication that you need to grant yourself forgiveness for a situation that you have been directly or indirectly involved in.

Guilt may show itself because you have done something in the past, present or a delayed realisation about an action you have taken - regret.

For example, you may experience guilt after a setting boundaries; you feeling awkward.

If you are accustomed to placing other people before you, this new way of being can take time to acclimatise to choosing “you” and what feels right.

You may feel guilt when you remove yourself from from a situation or relationship that you traditionally were in due to obligation, pressure or duty.

All situations born from guilt are situations where you have learned that a way you did something in the past, no longer resonates with how you wish to be in the future.

It is time to forgive yourself and move on; you are always loved, no matter what you've done or what stage of your journey.

13. Happiness, In The Now (Weffy)

Mini guidance
To let go, live in the now and find happiness, is to find the silver lining in a situation, person and experience that left you feeling like you want to run for the hills or retaliate.

Imagine you are in a park and a small child, throws a ball at you. You catch the ball and realise that it is covered in sticky muck that has let you feeling sticky, angry, dirty or some other uncomfortable emotion.

At this point you have a choice that will either lead you deeper into a hindering and unwanted emotion, or you can learn and let go - live in the now.

As you stand in the park covered in muck, you may ask, why did this person do this to me? The answers are infinite and there is not true way of knowing what was running through this person’s mind - second guessing motives does not solve your issue.

By all means, appreciate how you are feeling and speak your truths and mind, if needed. Once you have stopped the offensive act form happening again, consciously decide what comes next.

Should you react by chasing the child grabbing and screaming at them? Essentially, escalating an already bad situation to worse. This will not guarantee you inner peace or an apology.

Will you decide to run around shouting, “look at my hands, look at my hands, what has this person done to me, look at my hands!?” This will allow you to vent, but essentially resolve nothing. however, it will keep you locked in prolonged victim mode and attached to the drama and the energy of the child who offended you.

It will certainly draw the round kind of attention to yourself - hindering drama queen/king. You are perfectly within your rights to do all of the above, but what steps will be the most beneficial to you?

It would be wise to firstly, remove yourself from the situation and then, find out what the silver lining is - what was the universe trying to teach you about yourself through this experience?

14. Hope

Mini guidance
Hope is like a flying pig with propellers and can sometimes lead you to expect an outcome exactly how you want it - sometimes it's linked to magical thinking.

Maybe it is time to let go of hope and have faith instead. Faith that what you have asked for will eventually come, possibly in a creative way.

For example, “I want this relationship, from this person, by this time!” Know that the universe has heard your calls, but you may need to prepare yourself or become a vibrational match for the very thing you want - you might not be ready for it, right now.

If your desired outcome does not come immediately, trust and have faith that you will endure and overcome the lessons you need to learn, which will bring you closer to that with you hope for - they are steps in the right direction.

The outcome and how it presents itself, for your highest good, will come about - have faith in this and hope for your best.

15. Inner Peace

Mini guidance
When you are presented with a situation that leaves you feeling like a vulnerable victim, finding inner peace is a useful way to overcome this obstacle.

You can experience something that, justly, leaves you consumed by your negative emotions and you may feel that retribution or an apology, at the very least, is necessary.

If you receive an apology, it still does not mean that you will be at peace with the situation. In reality, there is no guarantee that you will get the outcome you feel you are owed. Which is why, finding inner peace in a situation is paramount to you moving forward.

If you choose to understand, let go and forgive, it does not mean that you condone hindering behaviours towards you, or that you should not seek assistance and take action.

However, it does mean that you will allow yourself the calm, alignment and balance because it is restorative - this is what you deserve, inner peace, a gift to yourself for what you have endured.

16. Jealousy, Envy, Inspired, Inspiring, Excited

Jealousy and envy is an energy with two heads and the same body, but if allowed, this energy can give rise to feelings of being inspired.

Feel and own the uncomfortable energy of jealousy, so you can integrate it and move forward into a more constructive energy! 

You may feel that a person may not deserve, what you may perceive as, “all the luck.” However, they are always worth, unconditional love. Show love to yourself and you will realise that you have a lot going for you.

Think of 5 things that make you feel happy about who you are, then take this information and feel inspired and inspire others, even if your greatness makes them feel jealous - shine. Smile and know, they will find their beauty, too.

17. Magical Thinking

Consider this following scenario…

You have a friend who, when you invite them to dinner, they always have a reason to disrupt your plans. Regardless of whether they have well laid intentions to go with the flow or if their intentions are to sabotage your event, the outcome is the same.

The first invitation, caused everyone to start late - cold food. The second invitation, caused an argument with other guests. The third time, caused over cooking and spending energy on food for a no show and no cancellation. The fourth time you decide to listen to your intuition and simply not invite them.

Whilst you love their company, it would be magical thinking. Firstly, get up set with them or take it personally. Secondly, it would be irresponsible of you to ignore your intuition and then feel bad afterwards because your friend is unable or unwilling to live up to your expectations. Their actions are completely out of your control. What is within your control are your decisions.

If you think the outcome of a situation is going to be favourable, when you ignore your intuition all the way, expected others to second guess your mind, do not speak up for yourself and do not value yourself enough to put yourself first, then you may be magically thinking.

18. Obligation, Pressure, Duty

Mini guidance
Do not do it if you cannot do it for love.

Remember that it is ok, if something you once loved becomes a chore. However, once you realise, a healthy reassessment is valid and will help you decide on your next steps. Then move forward accordingly.

Find or re-find, the love in all that you do and drop what does not serve you. It may be that steps in assertiveness, self-love and healthy boundaries are needed to regain the self-worth that is not being shown externally. If you do not value your time, you will be a vibrational match for others to treat you the same.

Give yourself permission to pause while you reevaluate a situation. Find a new perspective that involves love and passion needed for the task. Alternatively, you may decide that you need to seek means to completely disengage from whatever is making you feel obligated, pressured or dutiful.

19. Pain, Heartache

Mini guidance
As the tears fall and you feel you cannot take anymore, ask the universe for open heart energetic surgery. This will set the intention to clear from your heart, that which no longer serves you.

If you act one way, and it makes you feel worse, decide on another feeling from love and setting boundaries, that makes you feel better -  you will notice subtle changes once you tune into what makes you feel more balanced in your emotional state.

Tears really do cleanse the soul - so does walking or spending time outdoors. Let yourself be free and surrender to the universe by asking for help and letting go. Day-by-day, you will wake up feeling better. Set small intentions and then, almost on autopilot, make those positive steps happen - an incremental approach that gives you room to breathe. Do not try and go from nought to sixty, Maseratti style; it is an unrealistic approach.

20. Patience

Mini guidance
The art of patience is a tricky one!

For example, if you say to a person holding mainly masculine energy, “tell me how you are feeling,” they will look at you sideways and query your mental health; it is not how things have been traditionally done.  Go to war, stiff upper lip, men do not cry so on and so forth.

Likewise, if you say to a feminine energy, “sit back and have patience!” They will become frustrated with you; they know perfectly well what they want to achieve. They can see it, smell it, grasp it, taste it, if only, others would buck up and get with the programme - the gift of intuitively knowing how it will all pan out…if only!

Therefore, if you are being told patience, it is because you need to let go of any attempt you have in controlling the situation; divine timing needs to take place and a timeout is needed.

21. People Pleasing

Mini guidance
On the surface, people pleasing may seem wholly positive, but its roots, unfortunately, are born from an ego based seed of placing the interests of another in front of yours. This energy is fear-based and not launched from the heart space of self-love.

There comes a time when the question has to be asked, “who is more important, you or me?” This is a tricky one to first get your head around because you may have gone a lifetime feeling conditioning of “politeness.”

For example, you should always serve somebody else the largest portion of food; it is polite. However, if you are hungry and really would rather eat more, why should you take from yourself what you need. You should not. You are still sharing and being generous, but on you own terms with honesty - removing suppressed resentment.

It is your responsibility to meet your own needs. It also, teaches others around you to do the same, look after their needs first.

22. Rejection, Abandonment, Separation, Isolation

Mini Guidance
Rejection, abandonment, separation and isolation never feel good because they make us question our worth in a vast space.

Sometimes, we cannot understand why we are having to experience these emotions. We know we do not deserve it - it is lonely and may mean that you have to go it alone, but essentially, you do not want to.

These feelings initially come from separating from “oneness” into incarnation and then the relative feelings shift to having mummy and daddy issues.

For example, you may have experienced a parent that was emotionally detached - even if present - or you were physically or emotionally rejected and abandoned. The conditioning of being left because you were not worthy of a persons time, gives you the incorrect belief that the situation was your fault.

You are loveable and you are always loved. Find those feelings from within, first and foremost, so you can let go of blame.

23. Sad, Melancholy

Mini guidance
You have let go, you have been let go of or you need to let go of a certain situation, place or person and you may not even know what it is you are feeling. It is ok; tears cleanse the soul, so allow yourself to surrender in this moment.

Face your truths without fear, but do not lose yourself to the overwhelming emotion. Appreciate that this is where you are - a crossroad of change. In other words, see it as a clearing exercise other than navel gazing in despair.

Ask yourself, or the universe - same difference - to present you with ideas and steps to take. Steps that will help you lift this dark cloud of inner burden. Then follow the steps bit-by-bit. It is always an incremental approach.

Be caring, gentle and compassionate with yourself. Tell yourself what you do not want to hear, but with a light touch that it is ok to feel this way.  Surround yourself with calm and beauty.

24. Shame

Mini guidance
Even if you feel you deserve to feel shame, you are worthy of unconditional love more - love trumps shame and always will! This is the soul train that you should be on, the train you are already part of, if you would only let go of the pain of shame.

Go forth and claim self-forgiveness, acceptance and trust that all is well. It is time to give yourself an emotional amnesty and appreciate that life is dynamic and change for the better can occur, if you open your heart and let it in.

Who cares if others disagree with the forgiveness that you are granting yourself. This is your process, your inwards journey and your life. It is time to learn the lesson and move into the feelings that make you feel better.

25. Trust

Mini guidance
Learning to lead from the heart with a balanced mind, will help you make choices that will be harmonious to those around you, including yourself - trust.

It leaves you in a place of acceptance, understanding and appreciation for internal and external situations. 

However, you will still be led into life karmic life lessons, but you will be able to trust that no harm is coming to you because of your decision - enter without fear.

  • You may listen to your heart and feel that you have entered a situation that feels like it is a wrong turn - only to realise, later, that you conquered an initially unseen obstacle and the whole experience has left you much stronger, assertive and empowered.

  • It may even make you realise that your heart has opened further and healthy boundaries have been carefully placed around you.

  • It may be that an experience has shown you the cycles that you needed to break and you move closer to knowing yourself .

  • With new perspectives and greater clarity, you can now let go of old trust issues, knowing that the lesson has been learned - free and balanced state of mind and boomerang back to an open-heart.

Never feel obliged to explain why you feel a certain way about a trust based act or omission, other than, it just feels rights to you.

Take the time to tune into your heart, so that you can take personal responsibility and understand what is good for you, bad for you and how to spot big red flags.
